Latitia “Tish” Taylor-Searcy is a marketing veteran with executive level experience in brand management and marketing strategy. Specializing in personal branding, product marketing, and talent management in music, television and film, she provides comprehensive career support to her clients.
Tish got her first experience in marketing while interning at a Milwaukee radio station. Fostering relationships with record label executives, talent managers and artists across the industry proved valuable to the ambitious intern as she soon landed a position with Sony Music as a college representative. Immediately upon graduation, Tish was hired to be the Wisconsin field marketing representative for the distributor. Over her four years with Sony, she became well-versed in the various internal departments, planning marketing rollouts, as well as retail and radio promotions.
In 2005, Tish grew an interest to expand her expertise to include other areas of entertainment marketing. She joined an award-winning brand experience agency as an account executive, overseeing Fortune 500 sponsorships and experiences. Tish acquired skills and experience that quickly established her as a highly capable deal broker and brand builder.
Meanwhile, her son Jacob Latimore began showing clear signs of exceptional musical talent. Having made a strong career of helping recording artists build theirs, Tish knew what was required to take her son to the top. When he was only nine years old, Tish ventured out independently to manage Jacob’s career full-time. Over the next decade, she would be instrumental in securing music, touring, endorsements and acting opportunities for Jacob, helping lead him to mainstream success. Jacob has starred in major motion pictures alongside acting legends from the likes of Will Smith, Angela Bassett, Forrest Whitaker and more. He currently stars in the hit drama series The Chi on the premiere cable network Showtime. In 2021, the series will enter its fourth season in its primetime slot. Jacob’s latest music album, C3, reached number one on the iTunes R&B charts with its 2020 independent release.
Maximizing her momentum in 2020, Tish was appointed as Head of Digital Sales and Revenue for Cinematic Music Group. In this role, she oversees streaming strategy and marketing opportunities for the Cinematic roster with Digital Service Partners such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon Music, Tidal, and Pandora.
Tish remains CEO of Brand Fetish Marketing and Brand Fetish Management, based in Atlanta, Georgia. Brand Fetish Marketing offers a variety of products and services to support its clients in the areas of personal brand development, digital marketing, and sales solutions. Her clients consist of creatives, executives and entrepreneurs, as well as servicing emerging and established businesses and brands.
